Its true, I love to cook. My love of cooking came from a Chef course that I took (almost a life time ago now) but one where I excelled and ended up becoming a Pastry Chef in Vancouver. Now do I love to do it every day, no, but when I get in a zone and find a great recipe or two I get a feeling of accomplishment and a huge smile comes over me. Its even better if the people you are cooking for enjoy it too. There’s nothing better than hearing that “mmmm” sound coming from people eating your food.
Most of my cook books now a days are paleo, vegan, vegetarian which suits me just fine. I require a lot from a cookbook and I am not an easy person to impress. If you don’t catch my attention in the first few flips through then you’ve lost me. I need to be taken away to a magical place of food, one where I cannot wait to make that recipe as it just looks so good.
