Make 2019 the year to be all about YOU! LOVE yourself more and Learn to Say NO more often!
January is an awesome time to get some structure, routine and focus into your life.
Let go of all the things that don’t serve you such as worrying about things that don’t really matter in the bigger picture and spending a lot of time burning your energy up on activities that don’t really satisfy your soul.
MAKE THIS THE YEAR WHERE YOU IMPLEMENT HEALTHY BOUNDARIES!
At the end of the day your life is only YOURS. It’s your life, your journey and you have to own your choices. Your life is your responsibility and no one elses.
Think about where you spend most of your time and energy – is it on activities that you mostly enjoy or is a lot of it running around helping everyone else and you end up putting yourself last?
This is the quickest way to burn out and get out of touch with your own joy and happiness.
IT”S NOT SELFISH TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST
In fact it’s a very healthy and productive act to focus on yourself first. When you truly get yourself in a great place then you are a much better person to be around and to help others.
The hardest part of implementing healthy boundaries in your daily life is learning to say “NO”.
If you’re a nurturer, a giver, a compassionate type of person – often it can be so hard to say NO to others when they need some help. The more you find yourself saying “no” the easy it becomes – and you will quickly start to regain more energy and have more time to spend on things that bring you joy!
You have a limited amount of energy and time per day and it’s so super important to be wise with how you choose to spend it.
Life is all about Balance – the 80/20 rule is a really helpful way to keep you on track.
Of course we all have responsibilities and commitments – and whether we like it or not – some things just have to be done – like driving kids around, washing, cooking, working etc.
But what if you took back more control around the choices you make in regards to the rest of the time you have? Imagine spending more time doing things you Iove! How awesome would you feel then?
SELF CARE / SELF LOVE / SELF WORTH and SELF ESTEEM
Where do you sit with all of these areas? How much time do you take to truly focus on satisfying your soul and nurturing YOU on the inside?
Do you love yourself enough to focus on your health and take time out to STOP and just BE. To recharge on the inside as well as physically, mentally, emotionally.
If you are running on adrenaline – always flat out – eventually your chaotic life will catch up with you and you’ll get adrenal fatigue – burn out.
As you age, your body will send you loads of messages to let you know it’s time to SLOW DOWN.
You can’t hide from your body – it’s your gauge of how you are sitting in life.
STRUCTURE YOUR DAY TO INCLUDE TIME OUT FOR YOU
Once you have a regular structure or routine it becomes so much easier to fit in time out for yourself. As you know – once the day starts – before you know it you get to the end of the day and you had no time for exercise, a walk, a massage, meditation or whatever it is you would have liked to have fitted in.
MAKE TIME OUT FOR YOU A PRIORITY.
You deserve to live a life that you enjoy with more peace, Happiness, joy and FUN! So make yourself a PRIORITY and structure in time to do the things you love. Make time for daily exercise, maybe a meditation, just anything that gives you time out to recharge, reset and rebalance yourself.
Mark time out in your diary every day and you will very quickly look forward to that time every single day!
