For high-functioning women
who are tired of starting over.
You’ve done the research. You’ve tried the programs. You start strong, feel momentum building — and then life gets full and everything falls away. Again.
You tell yourself you just need more discipline. More willpower. A better system.
But deep down you know that’s not the real issue. Because if it were a discipline problem, it would have been solved by now.

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
- You know what you should be doing. You just can’t seem to do it consistently — and that gap feels like a personal failure.
- “Why can’t I stay consistent?” is a thought you’ve had more times than you can count.
- You start strong. You feel it this time. Then life gets busy and your habits are the first thing to go — automatically, without deciding to.
- You’ve tried diets, fitness programs, accountability apps, wellness routines, and fresh starts. Nothing has stuck long-term.
- You’re stretched thin even when nothing dramatic is happening. Tired before the day starts. Running on something that isn’t energy.
- You look like you have it together. Nobody would guess that privately, you feel like you’re constantly starting over.
- There’s a quiet voice that says: something is wrong with me. I’ll try again next week.
None of this means something is wrong with you.
It means you’re overloaded — and you’ve never been taught how to stay with yourself when that happens. The cycle you’re in isn’t a discipline problem. It’s a nervous system and self-trust problem. And it looks completely different from the outside.

The truth — Why the usual answers don’t work
More discipline was never going to fix this.
You’ve been told you just need more motivation. More willpower. A better routine. A stronger why.
But here’s what nobody talks about: when your nervous system is running in overdrive — when you’ve spent years caregiving, over-functioning, putting yourself last, and operating in survival mode — discipline doesn’t work. Not because you’re weak. Because the nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure the way we think it does.
What looks like a habit problem is almost always a capacity problem. You don’t need more pushing. You need to rebuild the foundation that makes consistency possible in the first place.
That’s a completely different problem — and it has a completely different solution.
Introducing
The Momentum Method
A structured group program for high-functioning women ready to break the start-over cycle for good.
The Momentum Method is built on one core insight: sustainable change doesn’t come from more pressure. It comes from building the internal conditions that make consistency possible — emotional safety, nervous system capacity, and a rebuilt relationship with yourself.
This is a 10-week cohort-based program. That means you go through it with a group of women who are in the same place you are — not alone, not at your own pace, not with the isolation that made every previous program fall apart.
It draws on Root Cause Therapy, nutritional science, somatic coaching, and behaviour change research. But you won’t need to know what any of that means. You’ll just notice that this feels different — because it works at the level where the pattern actually lives.

Consistency without punishment
You stop white-knuckling your habits and start building the kind of consistency that holds even when life gets full.
Self-trust rebuilt from the inside
You keep the promises you make to yourself. Not perfectly. But consistently enough that you stop feeling like you’re failing.

Nervous system Capacity
You learn what’s actually happening when you disconnect under pressure — and how to stay with yourself instead of abandoning your routines.
Patterns addressed at the root
Not managed on the surface. The behaviours that have kept you stuck are addressed at the level they were formed — which is why the change actually lasts.

What life looks like
when the cycle breaks.
- You follow through on the things you said you’d do — not because you pushed harder, but because something has genuinely shifted.
- When life gets full, you don’t disappear from your own priorities. You’ve built the capacity to stay.
- You feel steady in a way that doesn’t depend on everything going right.
- You’re not proud of being perfect. You’re proud of not giving up on yourself.
- The voice that said “something is wrong with me” has quietened — replaced by something that actually feels like trust.
- Your body is changing. Not because you punished it into changing, but because your patterns changed first.
- You are not starting over again. You are building.
Midlife is not the end of becoming.
It is often where it actually starts.
“Maggie’s sessions have had a huge impact on my life. It has been truly remarkable, it’s as if my long-standing issues have vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind. It works and it lasts. Even two years later, I am free of things that were holding me back, I no longer get triggered or react negatively. I recently had three additional sessions addressing other areas in my life, and the results have been equally impactful. While challenging situations still arise, they no longer hold power over me. I feel free, empowered, confident and take action where I once felt immobilized.”

EXPERIENCE
I’m Maggie Chilton — a Root Cause Therapy practitioner, master life coach, nutritionist, and author. I also work in People Experience at Lululemon, which means I see this pattern from both directions: from inside organisations where high-performing people quietly run out of capacity, and in my coaching practice where women come to me having tried everything and still finding themselves starting over.
What I know from both worlds is this: the women who struggle most with consistency are rarely the least committed. They’re often the most committed — which is exactly why the cycle is so exhausting. They care deeply, try hard, and hold everything together for everyone else. And they’ve never been taught how to stay with themselves when the pressure rises.
I built The Momentum Method because I needed it myself. And because the women I work with deserve something that actually addresses the root of the pattern — not just the surface.
I’m based in London, Ontario, Canada, and I work with women all over the world.

endless cycles of therapy
Root-Cause Therapy (RCT) is a profound approach to healing trauma. It enables the completion and release of unprocessed emotions that continue to generate unwanted thoughts, negative behaviors, and repetitive patterns.
Unlike simply discussing the issues, RCT goes beyond surface level healing as it delves deep into the core, addressing the root causes of your symptoms.
